Who is this Learn Web Basics Course for?
"Learn Web Basics" (also called just, "Web Basics") is for everyone who uses the Internet and especially anyone intending to own or work on websites. Students should be somewhat familiar with the Internet, computer basics and know how to use a web browser.
What does the Learn Web Basics course teach?
Learn Web Basics will have you doing your website work in less time and with more confidence. You'll learn to avoid many mistakes. You'll learn how to have a better-looking, faster-running website that ranks better in the search engines. But like they say on tv - "That's not all.."
The course covers critical information about domain registration, hosting, images, media, search engine optimization and much more, while it imparts basic information about how the Internet and websites work.
I am always amazed at how little most people know and understand about the Web. Even many web designers and developers have huge gaps in their understanding of Web Basics. I usually learn about their situations only after their lack of knowledge lands them in trouble and they come to me for help.
"Learn Web Basics" gives students the fundamentals that will help them avoid the pitfalls that have mired others and will give them a foundation to build upon as they learn more about website administration or web development.
If you own a website or are thinking of owning a website, Learn Web Basics is a “must-take” course. If you are thinking of becoming a web professional, this course covers information that will be vital to your work and could take you years to learn otherwise.
